Two days late, sorry guys :(

Once again, nothing interesting really happened, but my birthday is coming up in a few days, three to be exact! I was supposed to get my eyebrow pierced and go for dinner with my boyfriend, but we're tight on cash right now, so we compromised by agreeing that we'll go thrifting, and he'll let me buy anything within a $50 budget, and get something much cheaper for dinner. I was thinking Dairy Queen, I wanted a blizzard really bad and I saw they have one with peanut butter in the middle! I LOVE peanut butter.

My family also has a tradition on our birthday's where the birthday person gets breakfast in bed! They pick the time they want to wake up if the other household members are free, and choose what they want for breakfast the night before. The other household members wake up in time to make and deliver their meal at their chosen time! I usually ask for the same thing every year, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages cooked in maple syrup, and a cup of coffee. Sometimes I ask for bacon too, or fried eggs instead of bacon, but it's all the same. We also have a little tradition where, if you ask someone to do something for you, and they say they don't want to, you can say "but it's my birthday!" and they have to. Say you ask someone to grab you a drink or a snack from the kitchen, but they just left the kitchen to go somewhere else and say no, when you pull the "it's my birthday" card, they HAVE to go do it.

I visited my parents again, and would you believe I forgot fathers day WHILE I was under the same roof as my father? Gods I felt like such a shit daughter, but either way I called an apologized and now owe him a batch of peanut butter cookies as an apology the next time I visit. I love baking, so it's not a problem to me, and peanut butter cookies aren't super demanding in terms of ingredients. I've also been tweaking my own banana bread recipe! It's super yummy, and I may make it again either tonight or the next to finalize it.

Anyways, lovelies, I think I'll keep this one short this week, I hope you have a great morning/evening/night!

Hiii! I almost forgot to update today, not like I've been busy, I'm just silly and forgetful. This week again was rather lackluster, however I have stuff to look forward to in the coming weeks!

I may be able to get a job at the hospital soon, plating and delivering food, as well as doing dishes. My mom's friend works at the hospital and says they're hiring like crazy, and she'll hand my resume in for me. It's supposed to pay really well, and only be part time, so I'll be able to maintain it even when I'm attending college in the fall. I am nervous as I'll have to take the bus there and back, as I don't have a vehicle and I'm not fully licensed, and I don't do well with change and need a period to adapt to it and a new schedule. But I don't have to worry about waking up early since most shifts go from around 4-8pm!

Other than that, I visited my parents on Wednesday. It was weird being back home after living on my own for almost a month, stuff about the house and yard had changed, and sleeping in my room with all of my things missing felt off. But home is home, I got to see my dog again, which was great because I missed her (and my parents too ofc). My mom showed me how to make lasagna, as my boyfriend and I both love it and how she makes it, so now I know how to make it from scratch, and don't need a recipe!!

I've also been looking at a lot of free games/demos on itch.io recently, as I've been rather bored and wanted to support indie games and their devs! I found a couple I'd love to buy when I can, when they're fully released. One I'm particularly fond of is referred to as SLAUGHTER☆SQUAD or SLSQ for short. It's a text-based RPG where you, the MC, get invited to participate in a "game" by an anonymous man/woman (you choose their gender, and they're romanceable! (I want them)), as they claim you have "potential" (You assist some asshat serial killer dispose of his victims). In said game, you don a mask and weapon of your choice, and join a group of other serial killers to chase down and kill (duh.) people in the forest you're in while the Host (the anonymous man/woman) observes through the cameras they've hidden around the area, you net one point for each person you kill. However, none of the other killers actually seem to want to participate, and storm off. What you choose to do after this greatly affects your playthrough, as you can choose the character you wish to pursue at this point. There's little after this point, as the demo ends a few "turns" later.

I think the game is very promising! It reminds me of roleplaying online when I was younger, especially in the creepypasta scene. I was VERY into creepypasta roleplay in middle school, I had and still have a very detailed OC for it, she was my first OC I considered to be well-written.

This post is starting to get long and I have cookies to bake, so I think I'll have to leave it here lovelies. As always, I wish you a good morning/noon/night, take care :)

Hello again lovelies! I meant to post yesterday but I had a friend over and we were super tired after going out that day...

We had fun though, went to Winners, had intended to go to the thrift store as well but we both spent way too much money at Winners. I got some nice things though, a Von Dutch chain belt, chai coffee syrup, a pair of guess wedge sandals, and my personal favourite, a small bottle of Brittany Spears Midnight Fantasy perfume :)

I had the full-sized bottle when I was little, my mom bought it for me while we were in Toronto for my 9th birthday. We had gone up to go to Canada's Wonderland, and she decided to take me to the mall there. I saw the box and felt super drawn to it because it was so pretty, and my mom begrudgingly bought it for me. It was the biggest mall I had ever been to at that time, might still be. The only other mall I've been to with escalators in it was Polo Park in Winnipeg.

My boyfriend also bought me a copy of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein! I'm really excited about that, I've been wanting to read it for a while. I saw the movie that came out last year, I loved the visuals of it, the costuming and pretty much everything about it that you can see. I'm a sucker for anything creative, I'd love to be able to draw, and I have so many ideas, but I just don't have the discipline for it unfortunately. I do, however, still pursue creative hobbies such as my interest in writing and makeup artistry, fashion as well. I do also love film and music, I've always wanted to act, and consider myself quite good at it. I preformed in plays throughout school, took drama classes too, but I ache to do something professionally. I was thinking about doing voice acting, as I'm a decent impressionist, and my appearance doesn't factor into the casting process. There are some indie projects I wanted to audition for, I'm just nervous and don't have the mic or camera necessary to be doing it.

I may try to get into it, though, as I need a job and some of my disorders interfere with my ability to find, get, and keep a proper job.

I think that'll be all for today, not a lot of interesting stuff happening in my life at the moment, maybe send me some letters and tell me about how your life has been!! I'd love to hear. Anyways. have a great morning/noon/night!

Hello! As my first blog post I more so wanted it to be a little bit introductory about what I've been up to, and a little bit about me :)

I've recently moved out for the first time, and my boyfriend and I have spent a lot of time unpacking and getting used to our new place, so I haven't been as active as I'd have liked. We both used to live in rural areas, sort of out of the way of our respective towns, however I did live in this same city we've moved to when I was little, before moving to town. My boyfriend and I met in high school, middle school if you want to get technical, we just didn't start dating until I was in

12th grade and he had already graduated, nor did we start talking regularly until the year before.

Most if not all of our furniture is second hand, either thrifted or hand-me-downs. I'm really happy about that, though, our bedroom set may be around 100 years old! It's from the art deco era at the earliest, waterfall style wood furniture that was popular anywhere from the 30s to the 40s, but has the possibility of being from the 20s even.

My Nanna thrifted it in the 80s, and it used to be my Mom's bedroom furniture, staying in my Nanna's spare bedroom (my Mom's old room) until she gave it to me when I moved! It has a bed frame, nightstand, tallboy dresser, and vanity!

My boyfriend and I are big on thrifting, most of my clothes come from thrift, or were given to me by my Mom or friends/family. We also love vintage gaming! (used to be regular gaming when I was little, my poor heart), He has loads of old consoles, ps1, ps2, N64. I have a ps3 and Xbox 360, the 360 was my first ever console when I was just young, I really value it. I keep buying old games from my local second hand stores to play on it, bought all the Arkham games I could, already had Fable 2 and 3, but my boyfriend got me the original Fable for my last birthday (or Christmas? I don't remember).

I just recently bought a copy of Alice: Madness Returns for my Xbox! I had it on my laptop already, but it felt better to play it on my console.

Speaking of; I really miss the avatar feature on the 360, I loved, and still love dressing up my avatar and having it look like me. I wish the store was still up so I could get more cosmetic items for it, I was never able to play online as a kid. Growing up in a rural area meant it was hard, and expensive to get good internet, we would get it for short periods, then go without it for a long time, same with cable.

Anyways, I'd like to end this off by saying I hope to make a new blog post each Saturday! It'll usually just be yapping, but I may title them depending on the content of said post. I'm looking forward to it anyways, I've always wanted to run and consistently post on my own social media page, but I'm far too insecure to post on any mainstream sites in fear of people I know seeing them. Anyways, enjoy your day lovelies!
